Bolton – “It was a great vibe. I was thrilled,” said Candice Corcione, former executive director and now consultant at the Tolland County Chamber of Commerce, at the chamber’s first business-to-business showcase since 2019.
The 14th Annual Business to Business Showcase featured a change of venue, this time at Georgina’s of Bolton. Over 40 vendors showcased their products and services to dozens of attendees and networked.
Executive Director Melissa Smith said it was great to see how well business people network with each other.
“Overall it was fantastic,” she said. “I think we had a good number of vendors for this establishment. I loved how everyone was in person. They were laughing, they were joking, they were catching up. There was quite a bit of networking between the vendors. A good number said they had established good new relationships.
Smith also credited the location, convenient to I-84, I-384 and Rt. 44, with attracting traffic to the event, as well as well-placed signs throughout Tolland County. She added that the ballroom atmosphere at Georgina’s house added a nice touch.
“The venue was great. I love the ambiance, with the pillars, lighting and carpeting – it’s a nice dressed establishment, which makes it visually appealing,” she said.
The event’s platinum sponsor was People’s United Bank and silver sponsors were 360 Federal Credit Union, American Eagle Financial Credit Union, Home Replace of Northeastern CT, Rocking My SewJo, State Farm Agency – Jennifer Lamphere and The Vascular Experts.
