The Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority dismissed the case regarding Collector Bank’s credit assessment

On February 9, 2022, Collector Bank AB (“Collector’s bank” or “the Bank”) informed that the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (“SFSA”) had requested an opinion from the Bank following the previously opened thematic inquiry into consumer credit credit ratings, including Collector’s bank and a number of other players in the Swedish consumer loan market.

The SFSA has decided to close the case without further action. The decision indicates that the Bank has, to a large extent, taken steps to correct historical shortcomings, according to the SFSA.

– We are happy that the SFSA has decided to dismiss the case. This decision is proof that our continuous work to improve our credit rating has paid off. Sound and sustainable lending is, and will remain, of great importance to the Bank, says Martin NossmanCEO of Collector’s Bank.
