POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Valentine Gandarilla, 35, of the 10300 block of Frontage Road in Skokie was charged with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of cannabis as a driver on May 28. He was arrested after an investigation into an incident in the 1700 block of Waukegan Road. He is due in Cook County Court on June 10 in Skokie.

DUI

Zbigniew Kochanowski, 42, of the 500 block of Florence Street in Hammond, Indiana, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on May 30. He was arrested after an investigation into an incident in the 500 block of Chatham Road. He was released on bail and is due in Cook County Court on June 27 in Skokie.

OBSTACLE IDENTIFICATION

Dajionae Jones, 23, of the 6800 block of Ridgeland Avenue in Chicago was charged with disorderly driving for making a false 911 call, obstructing identification and driving with a suspended license on May 26. She was arrested in the 1500 block of Executive Lane after police responded to an ongoing burglary at a business in the 1900 block of Pickwick Avenue. She was transported to Cook County Court in Skokie for a bail hearing

HEIST

Sirjerathan Wilson, 30, of the 5900 block of South Indiana Avenue in Chicago was charged with burglary on May 26. He was arrested in the 1500 block of Executive Lane after police responded to an ongoing burglary at a business in the 1900 block of Pickwick Avenue. . He was transported to Cook County Court in Skokie for a bail hearing.

The owner of a business in the 2200 block of Waukegan Road reported that an unknown person threw a rock through a window of the business, entered and stole numerous items from inside the building on the 26th may.

A Glenview resident reports that an unknown person entered his vehicle while it was parked in the driveway, broke the steering wheel wiper control arm and left him in the driver’s seat on May 27.

The Glenview Fire Department said they responded to an alarm in the 1800 block of Tower Drive when they found an open door. Upon entering, firefighters found a fire extinguisher surrounded by dry powder

FLIGHT

A Glenview resident reported between 8 a.m. May 25 and 9 a.m. May 26 that an unknown person stole the catalytic converter from his vehicle while it was parked in the 1100 block of Depot Street.

A Glenview resident reported on May 26 that he discovered on May 16 that a gold watch and bracelet had been stolen from his home.

A Glenview resident reported on May 26 that his unlocked bicycle was stolen from a rack in the 2500 block of Chestnut Avenue.

A Glenview resident reported on May 27 that he received a call from a woman claiming to be from a business regarding a wire transfer. The victim then spoke to a man claiming to be a senior US Treasury investigator. The man informed the resident that he was being investigated for wire fraud and advised him to deposit $20,650 in cash into a cryptocurrency account, which he did.

A Buffalo Grove resident reports that his cell phone was stolen May 29 during a social gathering in the 2500 block of Waterview Drive.

A Chicago resident reported that a bag containing his cell phone was stolen May 29 from a social gathering in the 2500 block of Waterview Drive.

A West Chicago resident reported that his wallet was stolen on May 29 during a social gathering in the 2500 block of Waterview Drive.

A person reports that an unknown person stole the catalytic converter from their vehicle while it was parked in a parking lot on the 1600 block of Milwaukee Avenue on May 30.

IDENTITY THEFT

A Glenview resident said he received two Illinois license plates in the mail on May 24. The resident’s credit report showed that an unknown person used the resident’s identity to purchase a vehicle for $52,298 in Augusta, Georgia.
